On Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m., we offer a class for exclusively for women. Our Tuesday/Thursday class offers a safe, supportive atmosphere where women can develop confidence and physical fitness. Women will learn self-defense, flexibility, breath control, and strength. We also offer self-defense workshops teaching strategies for street safety.
When you enroll your child in our program we will provide more than just martial arts classes. We will provide academic support. Studies have shown that martial arts training can help your child improve confidence and develop the leadership skills they need to succeed in school and in life. “Martial Arts Training has positive effects on school performance and adolescent development; fosters success later in life; and promotes physical development and fitness.” Most of all, they will gain the high self-esteem that results from martial arts training as we teach it in our program. With this in mind, we seek to challenge our students to achieve excellence both on and off the training mat by supporting, enhancing and acting in concert with our students' curricular experience. Our students are encouraged to be winners over winning.
